CLKT is a WordPress plugin and website for preserving WordPress content on Arweave. This policy explains what information is involved when you use the CLKT website or plugin.

Website

When you visit getclkt.com, the site may process standard web server information such as IP address, browser user agent, requested URL, referring URL, and timestamps. If you contact us by email, we use the information you provide to respond to your request.

Plugin Data

The CLKT plugin runs inside your WordPress site. CLKT does not require a CLKT account and does not custody your wallet, private keys, or AR tokens.

When you choose to upload content, the plugin prepares WordPress post content, media, metadata, content hashes, wallet address, and related upload metadata for storage or verification. Uploaded Arweave content may become publicly accessible and permanent. Do not upload private content unless you understand the permanence of the network and have enabled suitable encryption.

External Services Used by the Plugin

• Arweave Network: stores uploaded content and transaction metadata.
• CoinGecko API: fetches AR/USD pricing for cost estimates.
• Goldsky GraphQL: searches and verifies Arweave transaction IDs.
• AO Testnet: supports atomic asset registration when that upload mode is used.

Post content, media, and metadata are not sent to storage or lookup services until you explicitly trigger an upload or lookup in the plugin.

Encryption

If you enable encryption, content is encrypted before upload using the password configuration you choose. CLKT cannot recover lost encryption passwords.
